Airtime brings the internet connection on board. The quality of the connection depends on many factors. We know them all.

A satellite connection has a small delay due to the distance between the earth and the satellite, a connection via the mobile 4G/5G telephone network works over much shorter distances, and therefore reacts more quickly. However, this only works near the coast and your contract should allow for that.

Thanks to our extensive experience and smart techniques, we optimally combine both connections and if required combine this with an Iridium backup in the extreme case that ….

We have combined the coverage of the satellites we work with in 1 large area: practically the entire earth. This means you absolutely no longer have to operate a single button on board; we build it for you so that the antenna automatically connects to the strongest and least loaded satellite in the vicinity of your ship. This allows us to deliver the largest bandwidth.

We currently work with over 60 footprints combined, so there are always several footprints active in the vicinity of your ship, and if a mast is in front of the antenna on a certain course, the antenna automatically switches to a free visible satellite so that the internet connection can continue. Full power.

For some ships a short message is enough, other ships would also like to watch their favorite football match via IPTV (and work at the same time of course), or send real-time the geological drilling data, the video stream from the CCTV or our gyro-stabilized night vision camera systems to shore.

We make no concessions: The ship and her crew come first. Where most providers try to deliver as little as possible, we do the opposite: deliver as much as possible. This is our sport and we love it. At the moment we can deliver a maximum bandwidth of 55 Mbps over our onboard network, on antennas of 60 cm or larger. The uplink depends on the power of the BUC in your antenna.
